斷定方向： 依據(jù)修建平面布置圖，結(jié)合空調(diào)管線和電氣管線等設(shè)置狀況、便利修理，以及電纜路由的疏密來斷定電纜橋架的路由。在室內(nèi)，盡可能沿修建物的墻、柱、梁及樓板架起，多么使用歸納管廊架起時(shí)，則應(yīng)在管道一側(cè)或上方平行架起，并考慮引下線和分支線盡量防止穿插，如無其它管架借用，則需自建立（支）柱。

荷載核算：核算電纜橋架主干線縱斷面上單位長度的電纜分量。斷定橋架的寬度：依據(jù)布放電纜條數(shù)、電纜直徑及電纜的距離來斷定電纜橋架的類型、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)， 托臂的長度，支柱的長度、距離，橋架的寬度和層數(shù)。

安裝方法：依據(jù)場所的設(shè)置條件斷定橋架的固定方法，挑選懸吊式、直立式、側(cè)壁式或是混合式，連接件和緊固件一般是配套供給的，此外，依據(jù)橋架結(jié)構(gòu)選折相應(yīng)的蓋板繪出電纜橋架平、剖面圖，部分部位還應(yīng)繪出空間圖，開列材料表。如與電力電纜橋架合用時(shí)，應(yīng)將電力電纜和弱電電纜各直一側(cè)，中心選用隔板分隔。
